- Prospect Kids is the children’s ministry here at PUMC. Prospect Kids laugh, love, learn, live, and lead. This means we enjoy spending time with each other, we love and worship God, we learn what God wants us to learn form the Bible, we follow what God says in the Bible in our lives, and we bring others to Jesus by bringing them to church. Each month we focus on one character trait. These “themes” are explored through sermons on Sunday and with games and activities on Wednesday night. These themes include the Values of Learning, Hard Work, Teamwork, Friendship, Money, Selflessness, and more.
- Expectation Lane is our kid-friendly worship service. Formatted similar to the main 11 am worship service, at Expectation Lane we praise and worship the Lord through song. We pray for and with each other, many times with the kids actually leading the prayer groups. And we learn what Jesus wants us to know about the theme of the month through Bible-based sermons. Expectation Lane meets at 11am in the Lockett Family Life Center.
- On Wednesday nights Prospect Kids have fun, play games, and do activities designed to reinforce the lesson from Sunday and the theme for the month. Wednesdays, 6:30 – 7:30pm in the Lockett Family Life Center.
